Demand Film are a successful cinema-on-demand distributer who have built relationships with major cinema chains throughout the world and provide a platform which gives niche films the opportunity to secure big screen showings. Demand Film support community groups to list and sell tickets to their screenings which are usually held in off-peak cinema times, benefiting all parties within the Demand Film community.
Demand Film have recently launched a great blockchain loyalty program which runs on their own cryptotoken Screencreds. Patrons who buy movie tickets, view and share trailers, and write movie reviews can earn Screencreds, which they can then hold to see if the value rises or trade for movie tickets, VIP events and other money-can’t-buy experiences. Screencred earn is based on influence – The more people who see the shared trailer, and the more people that buy tickets to the screenings, the more Screencreds the member will earn.
The key to Demand Film’s success has always been community. And the use of Screencreds to reward community engagement is a wonderful way to continue to drive this engagement, as well as leverage their tight community to build out their member base. The positivity within their telegram group and on their social media channels gives me confidence that the community will drive the program and the value of the Screencred token.

Basically, I love the name Screencreds. I love that the loyalty program is being built off the back of an already successful business. I love that the model rewards community engagement which is the driver behind the business objectives. I love that they are using the benefits of blockchain to their advantage.
